• Sam: Hello Farmer. Nice day, isn't it?
• Sam: I'm just keeping an eye on my little brother. It's good for him to get some fresh air on a day like this.
• Sam: Our Dad used to take us to the beach on sunny days like this.
• Vincent: Sam...?
• Vincent: Is Dad ever going to come home?
• Sam: Of course, Vince. Dad's going to come back as soon as he possibly can.
• Vincent: But I heard some grown-ups saying that... that all of our troops are getting shot to pieces.
• Sam: Don't believe everything you hear!

• Jodi: What was that sound?
• Jodi: *gasp*
• Jodi: This is absolutely terrible! What happened?
• Jodi: 80 Thanks for telling me the truth, Farmer. It's not such a big deal. You did WHAT, Sam?! What's gotten into you?!
• Sam: I'm sorry about this, mom. I'll clean it up.
• Jodi: Thanks, honey.

• Lewis: Hey! What do you think you're doing? That's private property!
• Sam: Uh... Er... I... I'm sorry, sir.
• Lewis: *sigh*... The youth these days... Sometimes I wonder if this town isn't doomed.

• Sam: Hi Farmer. Guess what? My band is playing a show tonight, in Zuzu City! Meet me at the bus stop around 4:00 this afternoon to leave for the show. You better be there!

• Sam: Hi Farmer. I wanted to talk to you in private...
• Sam: It's kinda cold out here though... let's sneak into my room.
• Sam: So... Farmer. I know I've been talking about nothing but the band for a while now... But I don't want you to think that's all I'm interested in. Um... Er... What I mean is... Well, I'm really happy that we've grown so close... Heh.
• Sam: Farmer... do you think of me as... just a friend?
• Jodi: Sam? I'm coming in!
• Sam: Quick! Hide in the bed!
• Jodi: What's wrong, Honey? Were you doing something... bad? I thought I heard some weird sounds coming from your room...
• Sam: No Mom! I was just... doing push-ups! I wanna beat Dad at arm-wrestling some day! ...heh.

• Sam: Well, we're not going to put up with your abuse any longer! We all know the truth, now! And we're not going to tolerate this!

• Sam: Oh, hey Farmer. You look like you've been working hard out there!
• Sam: Hey, I was just thinking... You know, I really like living here with you. I mean... I love it! But, I feel like I've gotten really lazy. I just bum around aimlessly every day.
• Sam: Oh, I know you don't mind! You make enough money on the farm that I don't really need to work, and I really appreciate that! But I want to feel like I'm contributing to something... know what I mean?
• Sam: So... I think I'm gonna try to find some work... something to do with music. That's always been what I love the most! Oh, uh... besides you, of course! Heh...
